IHSSC Student Fieldwork Grant

Supporting student-led qualitative field research in developing Asia

The IHSSC Student Fieldwork Grant is a small-grant programme designed to support undergraduate and master’s students conducting original field-based research in the humanities and related fields.

It supports small-scale, independently designed fieldwork using qualitative research methods, including interviews, oral history, participant observation, archival and documentary research, ethnographic research, and other forms of field-based inquiry.
